Surrounded by high mountains, vast forests, and the clear Titisee lake, our English camp is an unforgettable holiday experience for children and young people. Adventure trips, swimming fun or campfire evenings – wait here exciting activities in a dreamlike environment to you. As always with camps for friends: we speak English all day. For camps for friends English is spoken throughout the day, including during all sports and leisure activities. The children and young people learn to use English in everyday life and internalize what they have learned through direct interaction with one another – in a playful and pressure-free way. This makes learning English fun!

Learn English

Individual classification at the beginning: according to age and language level
From 8 years: Beginners are welcome!
English Learning Projects: 5 days, 4 x 45 minutes each
(= 20 units per week)
Interactive & communication-oriented: No classical schooling
Learning in small groups: 8 – 15 participants

Water adventures at Lake Titisee: Swimming, Water Olympics, pedal boating, SUP, … (in the cooler season: swimming fun in the indoor pool)

FAQ

Which services are included in the travel price?

The camp price includes all services of the holiday program, from accommodation with full board to material costs for learning projects, leisure activities, and entrance fees for excursions. Your child only needs some pocket money for snacks or postcards. We recommend an amount of €30 per week (in small change if possible). Your child can hand in the pocket money to the camp director and receive the desired amount daily.

What information will I receive after my booking?

After your booking, you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt for the booked camp. Your details will be checked for completeness by the following day at the latest. You will then receive a booking confirmation via email. This booking confirmation contains your personalized link to our customer center. After you have registered with your child's date of birth (note: if you have multiple children, always use the personalized link for each child), you will be in the camps for friends Customer Center. Here you'll find all the important information and documents you'll need for the future: the parental consent form to fill out, your booking details, your account balance, the packing list, your check-in button, and much more.

How is my child insured at camp?

Your child does not need separate insurance for the holiday camp: your family's own health and liability insurance is completely sufficient.

What happens if my child gets sick before or during camp?

If your child becomes ill before the start of camp and is unable to attend, please send us a written cancellation as soon as possible. Should your child become ill during camp, the camp director will visit a doctor with your child. In this case, you will, of course, be notified immediately.

How do the younger children communicate in camp?

In class, the older children help the younger ones. The younger children repeat a lot, which gives them a very good feel for the language. During leisure activities, we've even found that communicating in English is often easier for the younger children than for the older ones. They're much less afraid of making mistakes, communicate with their hands and feet, and just start talking. And that's exactly the idea behind our camps.

Bike & Swim: We explore the area by bike. It's also the fastest way to get to the lake and the indoor swimming pool!
Be Active: Volleyball, badminton, soccer, basketball! And if the weather isn't so good - or for a quick snack: table tennis, table football or "Just Dance!"
Nature Hike: Enjoy nature – it goes into the forest and along the lake
