Our website should be accessible to everyone – for users with and without disabilities. We, camps for friends, strive to make our digital offering accessible and user-friendly. This digital accessibility statement applies to the website www.camps-for-friends.com.

Status of compatibility
with the requirements

This website is largely accessible. We largely meet the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG), which implements EU Directive 2019/882 into German law. We are continuously working to identify and remove any remaining barriers to the best of our knowledge.

Non-accessible content

Despite our efforts, limitations may still exist in certain areas: Some graphic elements (e.g., sliders and buttons) do not yet have sufficient color contrast in all cases. Older PDF documents or embedded third-party content (e.g., maps) may not be accessible.

Measures for improvement

We are continually implementing improvements – including systematic maintenance of alt texts (since 2024), continuous optimization of color contrasts and navigation elements, regular training of our editorial staff on accessible content design, and the use of the accessibility tool Ally, which provides users with contrast and font size settings, keyboard navigation, and a simplified view, among other features.
