Our son returned from camp absolutely thrilled. He had a fantastic week, full of fun and adventure. He made new friends, and his teacher was "the best teacher he's ever had!" The camp is truly enriching, not least because of the top-notch coaches. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our older children (13 and 15) spent two weeks alone at a language camp in England this summer with Camps for Friends and absolutely loved it. They had great, practical lessons and spoke a lot of English (the counselors and teachers were all native speakers, and apart from the camp director, they didn't speak any German). As parents, we were very pleased with the uncomplicated registration process and the way all our questions were answered. Everything was thought of, and we felt good the whole time about sending our children off on their own by plane for the first time. Günther and his team were super professional, quick to respond, and extremely responsive to the children's individual needs. We highly recommend the stay in the UK with Camps for Friends, and our younger siblings can hardly wait to go there too.

My daughter participated in a language study trip to England (Wrekin College in Wellington), and I am extremely impressed by the diverse and enriching experiences she gained there. The program was excellently designed and offered a balanced mix of exciting activities and in-depth cultural insights. Numerous excursions to London, Birmingham, Warwick Castle, go-karting, etc., were superbly organized and she thoroughly enjoyed them. I would like to express special praise to the organizers and supervisors, whose warm, open-minded, and unfailingly helpful manner made my daughter feel in the best of hands at all times. It was reassuring to know that she was well looked after and supported in this new environment. The visible improvement in her English skills is particularly pleasing. The approach of involving local children and young people in the program was extremely successful. This enabled her to practice the language in authentic conversational situations while gaining valuable insights into English culture and lifestyle. I also particularly enjoyed the interactive games (City Rally), in which the young people had to solve quizzes and engage in conversation with locals in the city. These didactically clever elements promoted language learning in a playful and practical way and helped my daughter noticeably improve her English. She not only expanded her language skills but also developed a profound understanding of England's history, modern life, and the remarkable friendliness of the English people. This language trip was a valuable opportunity for my daughter to develop both linguistically and personally. I am extremely grateful that she was given this opportunity and can highly recommend the Wrekin College program.

Our 11-year-old daughter enjoyed the camp. We picked up an enthusiastic girl. It's definitely a great way to introduce children to English in a positive way. I also thought it was great that some of the counselors only spoke English. This helped the children get to know the language better. The accommodations at the youth hostel, including meals, were also varied. The great game nights rounded off the camp, of course. Very nice counselors! 🙂

An adventure holiday, learning, friendships—this one week had it all. My daughter felt very comfortable, was well looked after, learned a lot, and wants to go back next year—ideally with all the girls she met this year. That's how it should be! I think it's great that the food was good and the program varied and pressure-free!

My daughter (11 years old) has now attended an English camp with this provider for the second time. The first time was right after switching to high school. She hadn't really had much exposure to it in elementary school, so it was difficult for her to remember the vocabulary and pronounce it correctly. In just one week at camp, she quickly figured out how the pronunciation should actually be and learned a tremendous amount of everyday vocabulary. After the camp, learning the school vocabulary was much easier for her. Regardless, I got back a radiant, totally happy girl after one week. She was in contact with people her age with whom she could start and end the day together. They went hiking, swimming, and playing basketball together. At the fall camp, they even carved out pumpkins, in keeping with the season, just in time for Halloween. For Halloween, there was a party with costumes... and much more that I can't remember right now. And the counselors spoke in English during all of these activities. Of course, in addition to the candy package for the midnight party, there was full board. The rooms were well-maintained. I have to express my sincere gratitude to the organizers and the counselors! My daughter will never forget this time, and it's helped her academically! We will definitely attend another camp with you!

Our son participated in the Camps for Friends Sports English Camp last year at Altmühlsee and this year in Bischofsgrün. We were very satisfied both times. The organization was seamless, and the counselors were dedicated and friendly. Our son still talks enthusiastically about the sports activities and the evenings spent together. He also enjoyed the playful English lessons. Daily hygiene, such as regular showers, was well organized. The food was also excellent. The community spirit and camaraderie at camp were impressive. Our son made many new friends and made unforgettable memories. Camps for Friends offers a perfect blend of sports, language development, fun, and relaxation. We highly recommend this camp and are already looking forward to next year!
